Chris Molan

Reconstruction is a combination of two types of skill: interpretation of the past from the fragmentary surviving bits and the ingenuity of the historical illustrator. Such work is to be found in the pages and CD-ROMs of educational publishers such as Dorling-Kindersley and Cambridge University Press. Interactive Presentations' team of archaeologist Mike Ponsford and historical illustrator Chris Molan produces reconstructions second to none.

Our principal artist is Chris Molan who is one of the country's best historical illustrators. She specialises in characterisation and portraiture in both fact and fiction. All sorts of subjects can be tackled from prehistory to the 20th century, depicting daily activity or dramatic events. All subjects are treated with authentic detail and location atmosphere. We have our own source of reference.

"Loose-edge" images can be designed to layout specifications using water colours, acrylics or mixed media.
